Some time in the year of 2016
Life-long flautists and music teacher, Beate Lackmann, received a box full of eclectic recorders. These instruments gave Beate the impetus to make reality her long held dream of giving people the opportunity to play music in a relaxed, friendly ensemble and with that, create a community to share the joy of learning, of friendship and breathe life back into these instruments she had found herself with.
Since then
Our little ensemble has grown to about 13 members. Our instruments range from the Soprano, Descant, Alto, Tenor, Bass the Great Bass Recorders. Now we meet once a week on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula to play music and enjoy a laugh.
